remote central locking

Hi all got my remote central locking working on car it operates all doors except drivers door so useless until fixed any ideas

Have you checked door loom,?

Not as of yet as am at work need to get it done asap as key just spins in door but push the button and absolutely nothing on drivers side was thinking loom

The lock/barrel spinning on the 406's is a anti razzle feature,
turn lock with key opposite way theres a nack to it icarnt rember how but ive done acouple just messing about with lock and key and
they've sorted them selves out,. wd40 might help too,

doorloom might be ok but its always worth acheck for a chaffed or broken wire or 2,

Got card off can't see any broken wires it wouldn't be a fuse would it

what imeant was loom between door & post the loom with rubber boot covering it,.

It's probably the deadlock button.

Got new mechanism which now locks on fob but refuses to unlock strange any ideas
