Door sill rubber

I need a door sill rubber for my HDi.

If you have all of the clips as well, then bonus, but the rubber must not have any splits or tears in it.

Near to Wakefield if you can, but if not, a price with postage please.

Hi, They are hard to find in good condition as they are a weak spot on the 406.

There may be a few on fleabay for around £25 each plus postage, but I bought mine new from Peugeot for £20 each..!!!

The clips are about 7p each and I think there are 19 on each side - I had 12 clips come with the new sill rubbers in the packet.

How long ago was it when you went to Peugeot for a one, and was it plus vat?

I forgot to ring them today, as I was busy.

It was only a couple of months ago. I have family that work in Peugeot Parts Dept although I only call on him for prices if I can't find decent second hand things.
Give Peugeot a call, the part numbers are;

Left side - 9023 LJ
Right side - 9023 LK
Clips - 6997 86

It was the door sill rubber, the one that runs along the top of the sill from front to back, not the door gasket that runs around the door aperture, and their price was cheaper than the other dealer 3 miles in the opposite direction!!! ( I have 2 dealers 3 miles away from my house in each direction.) Go figure.

It also comes with the clips, which I was surprised about.

The E.Bay variants are more expensive, so GM's advice above was spot on.

Just had a look at the passenger side one, and it has a split in it, but it'll do for now, whereas the drivers side didn't have one fitted when I bought the car.

You may want to count the clips before you get stuck into replacing the seal - I only had 3 on each end from Peugeot, so had to buy the middle 13 separately.

You may also notice how much quieter your car will be....

Amazing that Peugeot can supply the rubber, but not enough clips to put it on.

Picked mine up this morning, went home and found that it had 7 clips short.

As it was around lunchtime, the parts dept was closed, so ordered 20 off a seller in Darlington, on E.Bay for £2.95 inc post. They should be here on Tuesday, so will fit them on then.
