Front drop links 406 Hdi estate

Post by PeterN »

I have replaced these twice on my car and they are rattling again. The failure is caused by the poor quality rubber boots which disintegrate, can anyone recommend decent quality ones at a reasonable price. Ebay is full of them, some double the price of others, how do I know they are any better?

I think if it was me, 3rd attempt would have to be OE Peugeot ones?

I bought some aftermarket balljoints for my Mitsubishi 4x4 a while back, and within just 3 months the rubbers had completely perished and
almost completely disappeared
My other Peugeot was a D4B

I use the ones made by First Line, I've never had a failure or a complaint from a customer after fitting First Line parts.

This subject is well documented on the forum, a search will bring up a lot of info on the subject.
