MOT passed today...!!

Post by GingerMagic »

Well I never - who would have thought that my £400 bargain basement estate with its varied 'flaws' would actually pass the MOT - bugger me if it sailed through.... 8)

Okay, I had to swap the wheels/tyres, turn off the airbag light with PP2000 and apply liberal amounts of Flash Dash to the engine so it looked nice, but yes - the only advisory was for a cracked front number plate which I knew about but ran out of time to get sorted, and the MOT man did say there was slight play in the rear tie-rods but not enough to put on the advisory, just something he noticed.....

Oh well, I've now got only 365 days to replace the front number plate and sort the airbag.....

I'm a very happy man indeed.

Snigger :supafrisk:

Wot, not even a pathetic handbrake advisory? You sure it's a 406?

That's 360 days to think about it and 5 days to rush round like a headless chicken trying to get it sorted
