Hdi hits 150000k
Well my new Hdi that I have had for 3 week's has reached 150000. Is there anything that needs replacing or maintenance. I got the car at 147897 and its last service was done 134590.

Installed the chrome around the gauges last week. Quite easy

Re: Hdi hits 150000k
I usually do my oil cahnges at 10k intervals as HDi's seem to get a little, 'tappety' if I go all the way to 12.5k. Others use much shorter intervals, but my routine suits my 60 mile/day commuting pattern.
Make sure you do the cambelt every 5 years / 80k. (The mileage interval varies fron 70 - 100k depending on who's manual you read). My way of looking at it is that if you will have to do it at some point and are unlikley to have to do it twice in the time you have it, then sooner is better than later.

Re: Hdi hits 150000k
When I bought the car there was no cambelt history but there was a replacement of the crankshaft pulley at 139000. I will go this week and get a oil change or just do it myself if I have time. How would I check the cambelt if it needs replacing?
