Hi All,
Still quite new to the 406 and on a learning curve. If I turn the ignition to position 1 ( acessory) the offside indicator flashes irrespective of the position of the column stalk. It can be cancelled by moving the stalk up or down or somewaht strangely by operating the drivers electric window switch.
On starting the engine the indicator stops but comes on of its own free will whilst driving along. Any ideas ?
In addition the fuel gauge has jumped from half a tank to threequarters of a tank without the vehicle being moved but is now dropping steadily as the miles go by. I am expecting to run out of fuel when I get to a quarter of a tank.
Any suggestions would be of assistance or is it just a case of french electrics on the verge of a nervous breakdown !!
( My vehicle is a 2001 2.0L HDi )
Thanks
Steve

the indicator problem is most likely a new stalk, as its a 2001 it has the crappy comm2000 type which is always going wrong in bizarre ways
