Electrical Help Needed

I have a late 2001 2.0Hdi Estate.
Last nite we got home from an evening out, when I locked the car the central
locking failed. After further investigation to it appears once the ignition is switched
off nothing works.
radio, hazard lights interior lights, the lecy windows lose power instantly the ignition is turned off.

When i switch the ignition on, everything works.

Any ideas

ignition switch is buggerd

Had a feeling that might be the case, was hoping someone had some other ideas.
Everything is deal without the ignition started. Is the ignition switch repairable or is it a replacement only part

just replace it, its only about £30, ive never changed one on a 406 before, but you may need to remove the ignition lock barrel, which is quite tricky
