I left my off the road for a month. (406 S Hdi 90). I left it on a driveway with a bit of a slope. I chocked only the front wheels. Each with a large brick and left the handbrake off.
Now that I have started using the car again there is a “clonking” noise when I turn the car, or do a three-point turn etc. Could be the CV joints, not sure, that is usually more of a "clattering" kind of noise if I recall from other cars I have owned. Never changed the CV joints on this car.
Just wondering if I may have inadvertently caused some harm to the steering or suspension by having the front wheels only chocked and left on a slope?
Thanks for any advice / info / insight,
Cheers.

Cant see you causing any issues with anything by doing what you did....
Most common cause of clonking from front suspension is from the drop links. The tiniest amount of play in them amplifies and sounds horrific. Next to check would be the tie rod (steering rack) ends. Lower ball joints dont often fail.

Thanks for your reply,
do you know if tie rod ends & drop links are MOT items - are they checked as part of MOT?
Cheers.
