Hi all. Don't have a 406 yet but I have been offered one for free as a friend is moving abroad.
It needs some work doing to it as the front spring have gone but that is nothing major.
My main problem is can I fit a set of rear facing seats in to it as I have 4 kids??
Very gratefull for any help and advice

Yeah you can (if it's an estate
)
Keep an eye on ebay, they pop up occasionally. Quite rare though...
Welcome by the way

Getting the seat in would be easy, but finding one (unless you want to pay dealer prices for new!) will be difficult and I have no idea about the seatbelts, since I seem to recall they go into the panelling about where the vents are?
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Yeah sorry, I meant the inner floor if get what I mean. The "family" version had a space saver instead of a full sized spare, to make room for the boot seats to fold into, so there's a false floor over the space saver for you to put your feet on when sitting in the boot. And as M has already said, the seat belts....
