adding a new rf key to my 406

Hi Guys newbie here, great site!

Currently i have 90hp hdi estate

i have the normal rf plipper and the sorta master key thing, that has not radio gubbins in

I would like to get a second rf key to give to a friend so he can use the car etc and have the remote central locking feature on his key for my car

Im going to get the key from a scrap yard or ebay

But how do i go about having a total of three keys working on my car:

1 x the master key thing
2 x everyday rf keys that unlock dead lock

You can add extra plip keys, but they need to be programed to the car by a Peugeot dealer.

Check with a Dealer first as I have heard that you cannot code an old key (from eBay or scrappies) to another car. How true this is I don't know. A new key fom Peugeot is well over £100 + the recoding ontop of that.
