A doddle for a man of your calibre 8) .

New, they come with the required cage nuts & bolts, pretty straight forward. But used, had to cut & re-weld the chassis to get it bolted securely (couldn't get hold of any caged nuts).

The exhaust backbox comes pretty close to the tow-bar support on mine, this needed a bit of adjustment to stop any rattle.

And for the wiring I just used snap connectors on the respective cables. Jobs a good'n.

i bought one second hand for my estate, it would of been easy to fit if i had new cage nuts but i was using the ones from the donar car so it made it a bit tricky

im sure you can pick the nuts of from a tow bar fitter

towbar

Post by andrew1608 »

These are easy to fit, i bought myrapier back in Dec 04 and one week after buying the car i went to local shop and bought one i fitted it the following day took around an hour to fit, i then went to a local towbar centre to have the twin electric's wired in which took less than one hr, but now with fuel prices going up i don't know when i willtow again so i have removed the towball and painted the par of towbar that shows in front of bumber and using a couple of cable ties i have hooked the electrics up behind the bumber so they are not visible but ensuring cables kept away from exhaust backbox.
