hdi 90 2000 estate exhaust

My back box has come loose, need to get it sorted

I looked under the car, pipe runs from the back box to (i assume) the cat

I cant see anyway of undoing this middle pipe that is connected to the cat

It looks like the original exhaust, is the factory exhaust just one long piece from manifold to back box?

There should be a join between the back box and the middle section. Its about one inch from the back box.

Probably have to cut the clamp off (i did and it had only be on 18 months), but access is ok for small hack saw.
