Dunno if this subject belongs here but...
Has anyone tried a tuning chip to a 2,0 petrol 6 (without a turbo). Came across to one of those in the net...Experiences anyone? Does it increase the torque at all or is just plain bs the whole thing?

Think I´ll just renew the breather parts and skip the chip...I´m sure there´s more sense in just doin´that rather than throwing my money outta window. I´ve always been quite sceptical about these tuning chips anyway...

They DO work... but not unless you modify your engine first. Turbo diesels are of course a different matter, and can gain anything up to 40bhp just with remapping the ECU.

You want to get a tuning chip for your missus? Where do you plug it in?

Welly - you've got serious competition here mate ;)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
