Siemens ECU

Post by JimH »

I have a 2003 reg 406 hdi 90, but it has a Siemens ecu, not Bosch. Does anyone know of anywhere in the north/north east where I can get a remap on a Siemens chip?

You could try MOBILE CHIP TUNE (08450218674). They're based in Liverpool and say they can remap the Siemans ECU.
I have a HDI 90 with a siemans ECU and Mobile chip tune say they can give me 115BHP and 253Newtons of torque. Giving them a try on Tue this week.
Also MOTOR MODS of Gloucester (08000268222)say the Siemans ecu is no problem.

Well, had the pug re mapped by Chris @ mobile chip tune yesterday and have to say I'm pleased with the results. The car now has better acceleration (could'nt really have been worse), pulls right through the rev range and is now happy to tootle along in traffic in 4th or even 5th.
After only one day the average mpg has improved by 1.4mpg even though im playing about with the new found power!!!!!!!!!! Win win all round I think.

Yes they had to open up the ECU and remove a component, re programme and solder said component back into the ECU.
So far all has been good, Just done a 200 mile round trip and averaged 47.1 MPG. The previous best was 42.3 on a motorway run.
With the increased performance and economy I'm happy enough with the service provided.
I would'nt hesitate to reccommend 'em to anybody.
