hello,
i was cleaning my 406 and ive broke the end cd/ radio changing button. one of the plastic pins has broke off inside... it dosent go up and down now and it swivels around. cant belive i broke it and im so pissed with myself.
i cant live with it not working so im gonna have to replace it.
all i really need is a new end button but im guessing a dealer is only going to seller the whole stork at a rip-off price. there is a peugeot scrappy near me so i can always try there.
its abit of a waste to get a whole new stork but if i have to does any one know how easy it is to replace and what i should be paying
thanks

Get one from a scrappy! Easy to change, All you do is unscrew the bottom steering wheel cowl which it is screwed to.

I doubt you've disturbed anything on the steering wheel.turflayer wrote:i got it out.... but its gone from bad to worse.... now i have a airbag fault.... wtf have a broke now?!?!?
It's a very common fault, it''s the connector for the seatbelt pre-tensioner. You can try unplugging it and spraying some contact cleaner in; failing that chop off the connector and either solder and heatshrink or use bullet connectors.
I've not got around to sorting mine yet!

I don't think that'd affect it.

Re: broke my cd/radio stork
hello
ive checked all the connectors and they seem fine, i dont belive ive knocked the ones under the seats and they have not been moved when cleaned. its gotta be something to do with me messing around the stearing column as ive never had this fault before and it happened at the exact after the said messing when i went to turn on the engine.
has anyone else got any theorys for a fix?
also if it makes a difference i get a warning bleep and display message saying airbag fault and the light on the dash is solid
many thanks,
