Welly's (back From) his holidayzzzz

Post by Welly »

Tomorrow I'm off to the Costa Blanca with the wife & tea pots for a week :cheesy:

I'm hiring a Seat Leon 140BHP TDi for the week (so expect a review here).

I'll also try and snap some 406's cos there's loads of them in Spain (most with factory spoilers too 8) )

Oh, and just for Puggy I'll try and get a few "beach babe shots" (if I'm carefull  ) "oh look dear I think I will take a picture of the nice waves"

Look after yourselves, and no arguing ok?

Take care,

Welly.

We're staying in Bennisa and visit places like Calpi, Javea, moriha [spelling?] and of course Benidorm (yah hay).

I'm taking my TomTom this time as I got lost and a bit grumpy once last time (was getting dark)

Oh you'll have a fantastic time mate! Benissa is about 10 miles from Mum & Dad!
You've got to visit Guadalest and the Jalon valley (very cheap wine! :cheesy: )
Also take a drive up montgo in Javea. If you drive over the top of montgo you come to Denia which is a port town but has beautiful beaches.
Hope you have a great time! We're going out there end of August 8)

I'm back :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

Have you missed me?

This was my charriot last week - a brand new (800kms) Seat Leon 1.9tdi

Image

Fantastic car I must say and I liked pretty much everything about it 8) it felt like a revvy gutsy young pup compared to my now seemingly tired pug  the handling and brakes were spot on too. I have now deduced tat this was the older 105BHP (the 2.0 is 140bhp) but it was geared for acceleration especially 2nd and 3rd :P In the Pug's defence the 406 definately has the edge in 4th and 5th gear pulls.

Anyway we had fantastic weather 27 - 29 deg C, blue skys, beaches, drinkies, relaxies, etc. all spot on 8)

Sorry puggy I couldn't get a "babe shot" I had one opportunity but very nearly got well busted

This place has been very busy then I see.

Now off to read through all these posts!

Cheers, Welly.
