bulb change in heater control display

bulb change in heater control display

hi all thanks for the help with the speedo,can any one tell me how i change the display bulb in the heater control display, thanks

1996 406 1.8LX Got a bad case of hydro lock!
1996 406 Executive 2.0 Turbo XU10J2TE No longer hangin' on in there :(

thanks for that but my car does not have a trip computer, also how do you get the radio out, thanks

If there's no trip computer you should have a tray that fills the hole. Just pull that out.
To get the radio out; you need 4 kebab skewers or screwdrivers that fit the holes on either side.
Push these right in to release the clips & you can wiggle the radio out. :)

dont have a tray there, all thats there is the display for the heater controls, do the exutive have a trip computer

What do you have next to your heated rear windscreen and hazard lights buttons then?

Ok; as mjb says you should be looking at the row of buttons above the climate display. Yes you should have a trip comp/temperature/radio display unit. If not take a photo and post it here!

thanks guys for the help with the bulb change in the heater control display, i thought that the display by the hazzard swich was just the radio display, but when i put it back in all things lit up, so can any one tell me how the trip computer works

A Bosch ECU and LOTS of re-wiring!
