Oh Deer

Post by steve_earwig »

This came in the post from my buddies in the autospares shop. I don't really think it's a joke but it is amazing. I think I better start off by saying:
this is not one you want to show your kids!

Anyway, I'll translate the text that comes with it as best I can.

Where's The Deer?

Image

Driving at 250km/h on the Autobahn in Germany in his Z4 convertable, the driver hit a deer.

The deer disappeared.

The driver stopped his car and wondered where the deer has gone.

Scroll down to see what happened:

For all you deer hunters, this is how to pack a 75kg deer into a BWM Z4 Cabriolet:

What's for dinner?

Maybe, at 250km/h the engine is that hot all you need to do is toss in some potatoes and shut the bonnet for another half an hour to 40 minutes.

As marine engineer, I'd clean it the same way I'd clean anything else - nine bar fire hose

That's a pheasant. I think. I reckon the driver of that got away lightly, one foot to the left and... Doesn't bear thinking about.

That's sad but I reckon that, like most wild animals, even if the vet tried to fix him he'd have probably died from shock anyway.

Btw my road kill stats: One sparrow (flew into my hand on my bike, broke it's neck) and one blackbird (I'm sorry Mr Blackbird but it was you or the bus...). Oh, and millions of flying insects.

Looking at the Beemer again i don't think it's a Z4 i think it just a humble 3 series saloon?

As for my roadkill count well its lots. Deer, Badger, Fox, Cats, probably every species of bird, rabbits......

Here's one from not to long ago, £36 grille required

D'ya know I realised earlier that it wasn't a Z4 so spent ages looking at pics of beemers, all the Z cars, all the coupes, just couldn't get it, didn't even think of looking for an ordinary 3 series.....

Errrm road kill, a sheep in my old solara, a few birdies, oh and I've crashed a pushbike into a dog on 2 separate occasions, the first time gave the dog a headache but the second time launched me over the handlebars   :frown:
