Where can I find my paint code?

Its a d8 in sherwood green, but I can't find the paint code for it!
I have a small repair in primer ready to take the top coat, but looking at the rattle can chart at the local factors there appears to be 4 shades of sherwood green for my year of car!!

Any ideas anyone?

Open the bonnet and look see if it's stamped anywhere, it's usually on the nearside strut mount

This is interesting as our 406 is also sherwood green, did'nt realise there are 4 shades of the stuff, mine matched, perhaps I was lucky! Paint code was on the inside of drivers door post, local Puggerama did ask for VIN No and registration No so maybe this clinched it. Touch ins are £4.48, about half the price of Halfords ones (if you can get them that is!) Good Luck Mick.

My local factor (mill auto) managed a very good match, they had 2 codes for sherwood green. The one I chose is as close as its going to get, so i'm happy.
