The T5 runs at 208 CO2's per whatever it is, anyway it's under the 225 threshold

You don't know how lucky you have it!
My 2.0 HDi is €630 to tax for the year.
If i registered my 2.0 HDi as a car coming in from england today, it would be taxed in the new emissions band. Since my HDi has such low
emissions (154 CO2/mg) it would only be €150 to tax for the year.
But i'm stuck paying the large amount because it was registered in ireland before Jan 08.
Thats not the half of it. MJB's 406 V6 coupe would have cost him €1,566 in tax per year to register before Jan 2008. Now it will cost him €2,100 per year.
