Iphone users

Hiya....

I was driving this week when my posh new Iphone rang.. I took it out of my pocket to see it was the missus ringing... surprise surprise!
I did as any self respecting man would do, pressed 'busy' and put the phone in front of the gearstick.

NOW the good bit...

My ashtray lid is broken and therefore wont shut, i've ordered a walnut one from a local scrapper but because it was open and i wasn't looking i dropped it by accident and it fell into the open ashtray........ EUREKA... it fell in flat and fitted like a glove!!!!! You see how futureproof these 406's are, even in 1996 Peugeot anticipated the release of Apples iphone and made the ashtray to compensate... Genius!

I will now be converting my new walnut ashtray so when it opens it reveals a grey carpeted holder for the phone, I'll put the progress pics up this week and any tips would be gratefully received!

I suppose it makes up for the impossible-to-fit-any-drinks-into thing behind the handbrake

I've had some dealings with I-phones recently...It went something like:

13 year old: "Dad, can I have an I-phone it does this, that, this" etc...
Dad: "no"
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work

Ha ha... But i'm sure it would help with home work and safety and all the other excuses kids can think of on the spot??

Mine went something like this..

Me: Dad, could I have an Iphone?
Dad: You're 28 son, My phone is a Nokia that I haven't even worked out how to text on so What are you asking me for?

Did you also explain the Iphone is comparable in price to some major upgrades on the 406... kids, its all me me me :)
