Tap Aerators

Post by Captain Jack »

Our kitchen tap is missing an aerator/mixer/nozzle thing on the end of it, which results in scalding hot water from one side and freezing cold from the other. It's not a screw on type but a "two slot" one. I can find loads of screw on types by not the one I can just slot in. Any ideas where to find one? :|

Hm, will have a look - don't think I saw any markings on it though.

Hi Darren,

Yes, but not the screw on type. It seems to just slot in as it has 2 holes for the aerator to go into.

Cover the tap with duct tape, superglue it on then put a jubilee clip over for good measure, then poke a few holes in the bottom... The extra pressure will cause the water to mix before exiting 8)
