dealer price variations

Post by andrew1608 »

I have just been checking out dealerships for a sunblind for my car, there are 2 dealers i have looked at for this, the first being Yeomans who are wanting £46.10 + postage for one and a dealer on ebay wants £64 + £8 postage for one. For a car that has not been in production in some 5 yrs or so the prices for parts are still expensive. I would have throught that dealers would be looking to reduce prices now so they could make space on the spares shelves for the bits for newer cars.

dealers prices on parts should be the same anywhere in the country. You won't get a Peugeot receipt with something you buy off ebay ;)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Yeomans have some good prices at present on genuine accessories - I recently got a sunblind for my 407 from them, and it was a good £20 cheaper than the next nearest quote.
