Flexi pipe section

Post by nimike »

Looking to know the diameter and length of the flexi section of my exhaust. 02 2l petrol. going to replace it by cutting out the old section and welding in a new one. Looking to know this info first, as I will be using to car to go and collect the new flexi section. Alot cheaper than replacing that section of the exhaust which includes the cat.

Looks like no takers, can't you just measure it?

My TD's pipework is slap bang on 2 inches, i'm not 100% sure bout the petrol models but i do know for sure they are a little smaller because they use smaller clamps than the TD. I changed my old mans backbox and clamp because they'd fallen to bits (his is also a 2ltr petrol) a while back, then when i needed to change a clamp myself on my own car the spare we got for his one was to small.

Sorry i cant be more specific, i just know it's a little smaller than 2 inches :?
Man: What shall i wear?
Woman: Oh for god sake, you're not a child, i'm sure you can dress yourself!
5 mins later.
Man: Right then, what do you think?
Woman: You're not seriously going to wear THAT are you?
Man: Well i did ask you!
woman: <sigh> Come on, let's go dress you PROPERLY...
Man: WELL I DID ASK YOU!
