noise....vibration

Hi, This is a tricky one to explain but here goes...My 406 has developed a noise/vibration from underneath the car around the front passenger seat area. It is worse first thing in the morning and if i drive over 2000rpm. It does get much better when the car is warmed up and sometimes goes completely. I had a quick feel of the exhaust (sound like an exhaust rattle) and that seems ok but until i have put it on ramps and got underneath to have a closer look i cannot be 100%...Any other suggestions or ideas for what to look for would be very much appreciated.....Thanks Colin
