Just bought 2 kumhos for the 306, cost me £70 the pair including fitting balancing etc.
My Goodyear NCT/eagles cost £50 each for the 406.
If anyone wants the details of the tyre factors I'd be happy to post the number, they're based in Rugby. (J1 M6)
N.B. I drove over a metal D ring which punctured one of my tyres, took it to TW tyres cos my fitters weren't open, they said it was scrap and quoted loads for a new one.
Took it to BT (my fitters) and they told me it needed a plug and as I'd already spent out on the 306 tyres and paid them for a pair of 406 tyres at the same time they charged me a fiver for the repair. Thanks Ross!
Got a set of four Bridgestone B250 in 195/65/R15 91H from BlackCircles for only £57 per corner, including fitting and wheel balancing from a local crew.
These are *fantastic* tyres, I can't get over how much better the car feels to drive - better cornering, better acceleration (they're "grippier" and are physically larger than the last set of tyres I had, meaning a larger surface contact area, meaning more of the power is applied to the road surface), better performance in the wet and on ice... And I'm not alone in rating them; they were rated at 97.8% in an Auto Car consumer survey.
Really good value for money.

I've had them but preferred the goodyears, I think they were either £50 or £55 at the time and the goodyears were £45 at the time, this year just gone up to £50
Forgot to mention, the tyre fitters wanted to sell me a pair of Polish tyres called Bika or Beaker or something like that for £30 each. I refused point blank.
Mind you, I think the ones that came off were called Barium or something, isn't that the meal you get when the doctor wants to look inside your digestive tract?
