Price differences - Bristol Dealers!

Post by seismic22 »

I hate going to the stealers but for the oddd thing you have to i guess.

My D9 radio needs coding to the car, its beeping every 2-3 seconds but other than that plays normally.

Anyway, Robins and Day Bristol (cribbs causeway) want £60 quid to do it!!!!!!!!

After advice rang Dando's in chipping sodbury, 15-20 mins from me, they want £23!!!!!

Cruise up the m4 use about a £1 of fuel and hey hang on thats a £36 difference!

How can robins and day justify it!

Bugs me when people try to rip you off.

Maybe they're busy just now and quoted you something stupid so either it'd be worth their while or you'd go away. Then again, maybe they're a bunch of crooks.

When ever i need dealer work/parts,i go to Dando`s.Far far cheaper than the old Templegate, now R & Day.I can leave my car there & walk round to my parents in 5 mins. The labour charge at Dando`s is half the price. My Dad has had his 405,Xantia,2 x 406`s inc mine,& 407 serviced/worked on at Dando`s.9/10 for service,& 10/10 for price.
