whats this relay for

while looking for the central locking prob i found this relay in the car


anyone know what its for and were it goes ?

Can't say I recognise it... Where did you find it? If it was plugged in, try to read off the numbers that are written on the wires and let us know if it's a D8 or D9 - a Haynes wiring diagram may be able to tell you what the wire's connected to

i found it in the car and it says on the relay

might not even be from this car just strange to find it and the car is a 02 plate 406 hdi 90 with siemens ecu
