Found out to day that if you leave the windows down when you leave the car and you press the dead-lock button the windows close by them selves. 8)


Rather handy that :P

Don't think its on all deadlockable 406's
2000 D9 Coupé 2.0 SE EW10J4 Scarlet Red - 5 litres of oil gone in 500 miles!!! Time for a new coupe me thinks

It's not. '97 tubby execs have it, '98 v6 execs don't, '99/D9 v6 coupes have it

Mine never did it (1999 D9 exec) :(

Her indoors' Astra does a rather clever trick where you can just put the key in the door lock and turn it to close the windows 8)

Yeah the wife's Fucus does it, openning and closing actually :evil: . Really annoys me when lesser cars have toys that mine doesn't :( :oops: :oops:


But then I think of Puggy's spec sheet and all's fine with the world again :lol: :lol: :lol: :wink:

Even the mighty Volvo is lacking the extra's that my Exec had :(

No 'Folders'
No Heated Seats
No Sunblind
No Footrest :o (Grrrr)
No door/puddle lights :frown:

I can forgive all these things though when I hit the loud pedal :twisted:

Anyway I heard heated seats play havock with your Gentlemens Vegetables :P

2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
