Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Found out to day that if you leave the windows down when you leave the car and you press the dead-lock button the windows close by them selves.
Rather handy that

Don't think its on all deadlockable 406's
2000 D9 Coupé 2.0 SE EW10J4 Scarlet Red - 5 litres of oil gone in 500 miles!!! Time for a new coupe me thinks

It's not. '97 tubby execs have it, '98 v6 execs don't, '99/D9 v6 coupes have it

Mine never did it (1999 D9 exec)
Her indoors' Astra does a rather clever trick where you can just put the key in the door lock and turn it to close the windows

Even the mighty Volvo is lacking the extra's that my Exec had
No 'Folders'
No Heated Seats
No Sunblind
No Footrest

(Grrrr)
No door/puddle lights
I can forgive all these things though when I hit the loud pedal
Anyway I heard heated seats play havock with your Gentlemens Vegetables

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
