Why get a new policy? When I got my 406 I just called the AA (my insurer) and simply asked them to change the car on the policy...

This is true, my mate did that with his lexarse soarer twin turbo and he was only 20 with no ncb and ended up paying £300 extra on his premium... so in total it cost him £800 for the year ! NOT A BAD PRICE FOR A TWIN TURBO !

Thats bollox I was 20 when I got my 406 turbo... and I paid £998 for the first year !

well ive convinced myself otherwise now anyway, i couldnt afford to run the turbo anyway, and its too far to go, and getting the thing back here without mot or tax would be a bit risky
ive got my heart set on getting some thing like this now anyway

its such an inconvenience being without a car
just went and had another crack at fixing it, but with no joy, my last option is to see if i can 'borrow' the helicoil kit from work tommorow and hope that will sort it, otherwise im gonna be without a car for a while

well its fixed enough to drive and boy am i glad, got a new drive flange from ECP for £58+vat, got the car towed to work, and fitted it, what an arse it was, the bugger didnt want to come out, but did in the end
i finally convinced myself to post the pics of the bodywork

i suppose its not that bad, it just makes the car so ugly, ill have to patch it up myself as im totally broke now
