Why get a new policy? When I got my 406 I just called the AA (my insurer) and simply asked them to change the car on the policy...jameslxdt wrote:i can insure it if i take out a new policy, but i dont want do that, my current policy doesnt run out till the end of may, it seems silly to cut it short

well ive convinced myself otherwise now anyway, i couldnt afford to run the turbo anyway, and its too far to go, and getting the thing back here without mot or tax would be a bit risky
ive got my heart set on getting some thing like this now anyway

its such an inconvenience being without a car
just went and had another crack at fixing it, but with no joy, my last option is to see if i can 'borrow' the helicoil kit from work tommorow and hope that will sort it, otherwise im gonna be without a car for a while

i finally convinced myself to post the pics of the bodywork

i suppose its not that bad, it just makes the car so ugly, ill have to patch it up myself as im totally broke now
