... d'oh

I was sure the SE just had the silver dash inserts. Maybe I saw a petrol SE though; the white dials were HDi-only.

I was goiing to get a HDi90 Rapier which is only ~£100 a year more than the Focus and fit an SE interior and get it remapped but it's not the same is it? :(

I'm limited to 120bhp :|
Otherwise I'd have Dai's HPi when he gets rid of his.

It would be nice to have the rarest 406 of all... but not on my pocket it won't be
I'm renewing in November, so I'm hoping they might move the limit upto 140bhp as that will open me up to the 2.2 Diesel and the HPi.
But I really really miss my old clattery XUD.

I love how this threads gone from Dai's Focus to what I'm getting in 10-11months time

I might just stick with a HDi 110, it's got more than enough power for me and when I get bored I can get it remapped and instant 140bhp :D

Thread wandered off topic? How unusual

Lots of long journeys - HDi
Lots of tiny journeys with the occasional long trip - petrol.

Well back and fore Dai's it was a 35mile each way trip, mainly motorway/national dual carrigeway and was doing 70-80 and did 41mpg.
It's not bad but a diesel is much better on a good run :P
