Not as much as I should
I keep all the fluid levels in check and generaly give her a good looking over from time to time. Every month she's tanked full with petrol treatment added.
That and driving sensibly seems to be paying off. I will be trying to change the oil every 6K miles from here on in.
By sensible driving, I mean steady speeds and not racing it around like an evo (unlike some here. Ya'll know who you are)
Typically I keep to the speed limits on town and contry roads. No sense in speeding there, doesn't make the slightest bit of difference for performance.
But, I cruise at 80mph on the motorways, stretching to 100mph once every two weeks or so for a few minutes at the dead of night (roads are deserted up here after midnight). Every once in a while, if the motoway is realy dead (there is a stretch where you can see for 4 miles in a straight line near me) I will open her up to 110/120 but then back off. No sense in over stressing the engine. Besides, I wouldn't want to hang around at those speeds for long. Tis wrong and the Police kinda take a gloomy attitude to it. Which is fair enough.
This regime seems to keep her ticking loose and happy.
