been toying with the idea of gettin a 1.9 td to run on veg for months now, but with the price of petrol ( currently using £100 a month just to work and back plus any weekend travelling pushing that to £120) its beginning to seem like i am stupid not to speically as i can get as much veg as i want for nowt
seen a few 406's on the bay for around the 500 quid mark add 200ish for a cambelt change it would pay for itself within 6months or so
ive read the threads on the forum and the filtering bit is concerning me a little so a bit of advice from resident veg users please
some people have quite a fancy set up of pumps etc but i will be filtering in my shed so no mains power.others just seem to use jay cloths??

i will only be using approx 25l a week so i was thiinking: let oil settle, filter thru bed sheet or similar into a clean bucket, then 10 micron, then 1 micron all into buckets then in car. would this suffice??
i know this has been covered before and i have read the threads just after someone to confirm if my planned filtering technique will be ok for the amount i plan to use?? thanks in advance
