What do I replace supataxi with????

The 90 I think in a 406 would be too slow (I had it in a 206), the 136 I hear
has a habit of ripping cam belts and is not as reliable. So it has to be the
110.

If you want more power then just remap the ECU for
?300 to add 40bhp and 75lb of torque, should be quicker than the
Petrol 2.0 Turbo.

I voted for the 136 simply cos after an ECU remap, you'll see over 300lbs of torque and close to 180bhp... but I don't think 4k will get you that, unless you look REALLY hard. So 110 it is

The 90 is easily the most reliable of the 3, with it's different flywheel arrangement. Less than 200 notes has it in the 110 performance league, and an intercooler kit has it in the 136 league, all without disintegro BMFs and wonky camtrain problems.

has to be the 110, its the perfect compromise between performance and economy, also the 136 has a particle filter which can cause a few issues

Excuse my ignorance, but is the saloon 136bhp the 2.0HDi or 2.2HDi. I've got a 2.2 HDi coupe, just wondered if they tuned the 2 litre to give 136bhp.

The 90bhp HDi offers horrible acceleration. On the Top Gear site where you can describe a car in 5 words or less, someone's comment was More Power In A Fart. Do you really want to drive a 1.5-ton car with 90bhp? I did in my first car, a Xantia, and although the handling was nice the car was too damn slow! It turns every busy roundabout into a life-or-death situation.

The 110bhp is much better and easier to get hold of, but for my money the 136bhp HDi is the dog's danglies; it can match a 2.0 turbo and returns twice the mpg (supposedly). What better combination of power and cost-efficiency can you think of, except for a Seat Leon Cupra TDi.
