how the hell do you make the hdi so thirsty?

remember these cars aren't meant to go fast, they are French FFS,

if you stick by this you will see some serious improvements in your consumption,
and re-mapped? WTF?? you cant polish a turd :P

but accept the old french bus for what it is and its an admirable motor that will give you back comfort and an acceptable drive for not too much cash :)

I love my pug for the fact it just keeps going and going and going, and she is an HDi (fussy electronics, my arse!!)

i agree thats what i bought my 406 for, pure economy, and thats why im so concerned im not even getting that no matter how light i drive it!! does changn the maf work anybody??

i got 135 miles chester to Rockingham for French Car Show....going from full tank showing to just over 3/4 tank so not sure actual mpg but did expect to use more on the journey

BTW Morrisons "bio" has only 5% bio in fossil diesel and its more expensive ............ its sh*t just like shell optimax (my car never ran so badly on that ovcerpriced crap)
