I'll use the gold star to hide one of the little dimples in the doors from the car parks!

Incidentally, did you do the same as I did last time I drove a smart? I went to reverse out of the space it was in, put my arm around the passenger seat, & sh*t myself when I looked back because I didn't expect the rear screen to be so close!

Can you still park them at 90 degrees instead of parallel parked?

I don't think UK.gov ever allowed you to park them side-in, thereby at a stroke decimating the Smart's USP.

Same with the BMW motorbike thing the C1 I think it was, UK.gov wouldn't allow mere taxpayers to drive it without a helmet, which was the USP of it (the fact it had a full roof).

Somewhat off topic
I had a weird dream that I was sitting in a car park, and some girl drove in in a Vauxhall Agila mk1 in red, and I started singing the postman pat theme.
She got all offended and I tried to make up by saying it was a good car, based on Suzuki, and my own car isn't perfect.

Indeed, in my dream I'd have bent her over the bonnet of the red Vauxhall Agila and gave her a jolly good rogering 8)

You're daydreaming about having it off with a girl SirWiggum dreamed about once.

This is clearly not a good sign, psychologically speaking.

No. The Merc Stealer my mate got it from told him its to do with it not having reflectors on the side.

Would it be possible if you had the reflectors from the US "federal" version I wonder?

It is a valid point, UK MOT regs state that when a car is parked up, reflectors must be visible from the rear.

In Road Wars they stopped boy racers who had spray painted their back lights black on this very thing.

The best use of a Smart is as a spare car to tow behind a camper van.
