This is a small detail I did a few weeks ago to my old mans car...
After working nearly every weekend for nearly a year for absolutley peanuts it's finally nice to have a weekend to myself

Unfortunatley I have been neglecting the Volvo a little bit where at most the past few months all it's had is a quick wash and a wipedown with Duragloss Aquawax 951.
So heres the Volvo...

I gave it a light spray with autoglym engine and machine cleaner along with the alloys and arches...

After 5 mins soaking with a light rinse of a hose you can see how this process really helps with prewashing, although I wouldn't reccomend it if you have lots of protection on the paint

This is the car after rinsing opff the engine and machine cleaner...

I then mixed up some bilberry at 10:1 with hot water from the kettle, not boiling but warm enough, I'd say 50-60 degrees C roughly...

As you can see my Glossmax bottle didn't take kindly to it :doublesho

Anyway wheels were lightly sprayed in Bilberry and rinsed off...

Then cleaned with bilberry again along with a little bit of elbow grease from an old Duragloss Mit and a cheapy tesco MF wheel brush...

After...

I then decided to do a prewash with Bilberry at 10:1...

The car was then washed with...

When a little mate turned up... :wall:

I then worked some SRP into the paint and couldn't belive the glossyness of it :doublesho

After this I started wiping the car down with this...

But then the spray head died so I went back to Duragloss 921...

I then applies some Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection and left it half hour, buffed it off and gave the car a wipedown with...

The car was then waxed with...

And the black trim wiped down with Fast Glass and dressed with black wow, I also did the glass with fast glass aswell

After....

Oh Mr Welly... Stop wanking

Ta, Bailes
