Help stuck in field and car won't start

Hi guys
well I'm stuck in a field and car has decided not to start it turns over fine but won't fire it's a 2.0 hdi d9 please any suggestions would be very handy

Immobiliser having a brain fart? Lift pump?
I'm not sure what to suggest apart from giving the lift pump a tap, have you got breakdown cover?

In the 4 years of ownership of my hdi, the only time it wouldn't start, the fuel supply trip switch had gone off - up near passenger wing under bonnet with red top to it.
Pressed it back down, and all was good

Oh yeah the inertia switch! Especially if you're parked in a field!

Switch seems ok but fuel pump under back seat not making any noise
is there a relay or anything I can check?

It's usually the pump itself that siezes; tap the pump housing and try again, that has worked for some guys on here temporarily.
