Great to know so many are going strong. My 406 110 Hdi Exec has 212k on the clock. Just popped the turbo boost pipe late yesterday, hope to get the new one first thing tomorrow.

Re service intervals, I have simply changed oil and filter every 6k miles since we bought the car (with 78k on it); air and fuel filters as the book says. Why 6k miles? In the hope it will help the engine last a long time ... of course I will never know if it has helped or not. Pretty much no other routine servicing done at all; just wait for problems :cheesy:

Servicing every 6k plus considerate driving.........You'll pop your clogs long before that engine does if you keep that up

Its very dust at the moment, am actually thinking of trying my first mini engine bay detail tomorrow if weather permits.

Do I have the bottle to hose it down......will try and do a before and after pics when I do it.

Have removed some of the parts stickers from components already cos starting to curl at edges.
