Tyre Pressures For A Coupe

Post by gumby6371 »

Had a slow puncture fixed at kwik fit last week and when I checked the pressures a few days later they'd pumped all my tyres up to around 38psi, as I have 16" coupe wheels on my saloon I wasn't sure what the reccomended pressures are (usually go for 34 all round but that was on the original tyre size). Any coupe owners out there have that info please ? Tyres are 215, 55, 16's

I do mine to 34-36 front depending on weather and 36-38 rear dependent on load, but I've got a V6 coupé so the weight distribution is very different to your car, and quality tyres. On a saloon/estate with ditchfinders (budget tyres) I'd go 34psi all around
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
