Front Thing Missing

My car seems to be missing the 'thing' that sits under the front bumper whatever its called, i think originally there was a black piece of plastic but does anyone know the name of this part and where to get one, because i seen a 406 with one today and it looked good

you can get one of a renault laguna,there are 2 types one with air holes one without.

would a laguna spliiter look right on a 406? what is the standard splitter from the 406 like, is it common for them to fall off?

Only the coupé has an OEM splitter as far as I'm aware

my car must have had something initially because there is slots for it to lock or clip into it, but where is the best place to get a laguna splitter, does it go in easy, and can it be painted to the colour of the car

What about the little black thing under the bumper on the D9's? Most are missing nowadays though.

It's that rubbery lip thing - dealer is the best bet but check to see the fixing lugs on the bumper are intact or you'll have trouble securing the new one. It just kinda squishes into the fixing lugs all the way along.
