Im thinking Discovery now rather than Range Rover, purely because the re-sale potential is greater here and the purchase cost is lower in the UK, I will be driving the thing for a while myself then when i get a good enough offer on it will sell it and pick another one up around Christmas time when im back in the UK again
But I have to say Im looking forward to the V8 rumble in my life
As for breaking it myself, well i would need a better understanding of the language to do it myself and i think the wife would get sick of having to field the phone calls and translate to me then me telling her and her having to translate back etc etc etc
So im off to look at cars this weekend and hopefully will be tackling the drive back over here again by monday or tuesday of next week, Im definitely going to put some european breakdown cover on the thing though as it will be an unknown quantity to me before i set off on a 2000km non stop pan euro drive, i have to be back for lessons by tuesday ideally but i think that is a tad optimistic even for me
And Steve the weather has gone crazy hasn't it, its 12 degrees today and pissing down last night was down to 6 or 7 degrees and to think like you only a week ago i was bemoaning the fact i never fixed the AC in the pug, glad i didn't now though
I have a few motors lined up for inspection on friday and saturday back in the UK, I want an auto this time as i am not planning on keeping it too long and it does make the long drive a lot easier, but the ones i have lined up are either Manual with AC and leather or Autos with half leather and no AC, there is talk of us having a few more weeks of warm weather again before the summer is totally over,Hmmm decisions decisions decisions, we will just have to see which looks the best for the price and try to remember im not really buying for me but as a trader of sorts.
