It's a bloody good special paint... that works for years after it's been scraped off...
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Google's just told me that the Coupe is fully galvanised with a 6-year warranty :o

I must admit I thought the saloon was at least galvanised at the bottom half or summink :?

good stuff. Well even if peugeot arent galvanised they do a good job at whatever they do. The 205 was a good car at keeping out the rust also, the one i used to rally round the farm had mint bodywork, and come to think of it id say theres more old 205 diesels than golf diesels of the same time.

I put the cill seals in, got 50 clips also and pumped enough waxoyl into the holes that the cars body at least will be around for archeologists to find in 1000 years. Heres some pictures, just had a play around with this 2mp camera on the blackberry:

And just for the sake of taking pictures heres the old cills in my shed, which is full of old parts like this i have a suspension strut from a fiat panda, worn brake shoes from a vitara, and all the switches, wood trim and courtesy lights from the old merc, i dont throw old car parts out they are all horded in here:

This cameras not too bad for 2mp
