Hi ...well bought a new clutch cable, £32 and paid a garage to fit. That and a new fuel filter also top up gearbox . Charged me £90 .....clutch now works smoother but is still very heavy.
Seems a shame but I don't think I can keep her as , I will find the clutch just too hard to work, with my disability.
Always the same when you spend a fair amount of money on a car to get it right , and then have to sell it and you never see the money anywhere near returned, even after driving a few 100 miles of ownership.
Think I might now look for an auto box and perhaps 3lits of lift off. kim

That's a shame I guess if you don't get on with it then there's no point having it. It sounds like you'd be safer with an automatic with your leg, although give it a careful test 'cos I know on Pugs they give loads of issues. If you get one of these "sealed for life" remember that this is total balls, they wear out anyway so it's best to change the oil, which can be tricky on some.

Hi Steve .......a big thanks to all on forum for the help and advice during my brief period of ownership.
My car now on e bay , hope to get back most of The money spent..going to save up and get another. Will ask advice nearer the time if I find a couple of candidates
