Fuel Price Drop

Any chance of this happening, mind a few years back petrol and diesel prices had a nice wee dip in price, i have a picture on the computer of the haloween fireworks back in 2008 and conveniently there is a tesco filling station in the picture petrol was 94p and diesel was 105p what caused that dip, and is there any chance of this new government with all their cuts perhaps helping out in some way by at least cutting the fuel cost.

even over here the price just keeps rising, its up to 4.40 zloty a litre now for diesel thats damn near a bloody pound a litre in uk prices!

now you may think that its a good price as its lower than the UK but the average wage is much much lower here than back in the uk and generally the cost of living is much lower too, its just cars and everything associated with them that cost so much,

I paid just over 40 quid the other day for a set of Front pads for the disco, bosch ones not even LR originals, now back in the uk you can pick that sort of thing up for about 12-15 quid a pair

I remember in 2008 unleaded was about 86p at the lowest and that's why I didn't mind swapping to a thirsty petrol, now of course........

howl on to i use some a level human geography terminology here, the purchasing power parity is lower there. The spending power, ive been down south (ireland) and it used to be so cheap to go down for some diesel or to do shopping but now everything is rediculosly expensive, but their diesel is £1.06 at the moment, it hardly pays to drive that far though, it used to be about 80p a litre, back then it made sense to drive down and get some diesel.
My dad is laughing at everyone worrying at the price of fuel LPG is sitting constant at 50p, the only bad thing is that he has to drive a primera.

you are right. My use of NI slang isnt too bad, if any members from further north will know about ulster scot which is english but it really should be declared its own language, im not making fun of it, its great to listen to and if you understand it is quite good.

The price has remained somewhat stagnant here - but the AUD has reached parity with the USD, so people believe that the price should be somewhat lower (for everything for that matter)...Thing is, it makes our economy look fairly unattractive from a buyers point of view.

Paid $1.45 for 98ron or 90 pence (i dont have a pound sign on my keyboard) for my last fill up on Sunday evening!
