urban mpg figures?
I do 26 miles a day going to work and back each day (all in residential roads in south London), I get 48mpg from my 110 diesel which makes me feel orgasmic, but I have no real idea if this is good or bad, out of interest, what are you boys getting round town?

Worse than that chugging to the shops and back, better than that if I can include some highway/motorway journeys.

Re: urban mpg figures?
I'm only getting 35mpg at best doing about 10miles a day - 2 school runs & work & back - & get 45mpg at best on a run.
If you're getting 48mpg urban, I'm starting to worry that something is a bit wrong with my car...

Wave.........if you're on a run, the minute you go faster than 60, you'll be cutting down the mpg severely, you'll find this hard to believe, but my urban mpg and my motorway figures are virtually the same. When around town, you have to change up the gears as fast as possible and never accelerate, you have to smoothly caress the throttle peddle ( yes it's a right pain!) I've even been overtaken by pensioners in a nissan micra, but heyho there's a 30mph limit in most places and I don't want to give the chancellor any more tax revenue than I have to

Re: urban mpg figures?
I'll have to give that a go next time, but my 45mpg best was achieved at about 60mph on single carriageway A roads.
& it's Waue, not Wave.

Re: urban mpg figures?
40mpg is the worst i get, 46 has been the best on the motorway where its been 70mph at all times, its not economical driving but the car can do better mpg if drove easier.
