How does one change the indicator bulb on a 406 D9?
Cheers

Told you I was a newbie I mean the side repeater indicator, the one where White Van Man bastard hit my poor car
I need to put the car through its MOT this month, and I don't want to take her to the garage and get them to replace the whole side repeater if it's just a broken bulb.
She'll pass the MOT, I know she will - but not if there's a light on her that doesn't work.

Not strictly true - only some lights are checked during an MOT, (albeit most of them). Reversing lights don't get checked, I don't think front fogs do and I'm fairly sure indicator repeaters don't either......

I changed the orange repeats on my Xantia to D9 repeaters, so the process should be similar.
Used a credit card / old clubcard to get the old repeater out, there is a little springy bit in the plastic holder. Don't use a screwdriver in case of scratches!
Tie a cable tie around the wire to stop it flying back into the wing!
Easy enough to get at repeaters.

As a general observation the d8s have the indicators in the wing side strip, the d9s have it up in the middle ish of the wing, the d8 setup seemed a bit neater.
