Re: a good car ruined by a boy racer
I dont like modified cars like this, only subtle modifications are good, some nice alloys, a chrome tipped exhaust, a discreet spoiler. But what i want from my car is something that i can proudly park beside a new sclass, ie something repectable. Not a tacky bunch of non factory looking additions, for example the yellow cars got a big shiny thing in it, wheras my car i went to quite some effort at getting a nice light that looks like peugeot put it there.
But hey what do i know, you might get a babe cough like that when you drive a car like that,
ahhhhhhh get it away get it away, my eyes are burning

Re: a good car ruined by a boy racer
ah ive spotted a something that absolutley pisses me off, the yellow car seller has put in the title 'not supra skyline' this is a common trend on gumtree and i did a bit of investigating by playing as an interested buyer of a bora (i really was acting very hard, i dont find the bora interesting) anyhow these sellers do it so that when you search for a supra or skyline this 406 comes up, i know its not a big inconvenience but really it makes me angry. I was looking for a 306 for my aunt and i seen the bora, so i felt compelled to find out why this happens.

I just thought it was delusions of grandeur
Oh, the head gasket's gone, I'd get shot of it quick too. Current bid 102 quid, you'll get more than that for the wheels, stuff the rest in the crusher

I wonder what constitutes "not long ago" - is that in terms of days, weeks, months, years or ice ages?

With the modifications scene it could be anything really. I'm guessing 18months though.steve_earwig wrote:I wonder what constitutes "not long ago" - is that in terms of days, weeks, months, years or ice ages?
And wtf's going on with the female spread over the bonnet?

Re: a good car ruined by a boy racer
18 months at a guess? Well, I'd be happy to drive that
I think the female is a kind of incentive to buy the car because he needs to sell it in order to buy clothes and food for his daughter.
